Ha is an AES secondee to the Son My LNG Terminal LLC overseeing and supporting the Project’s legal and compliance affairs and also being the MC Secretary of the company. 

Ha achieved both LLB and LLM from Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City and started his legal and compliance career in 2009. Ha is a lawyer admitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Bar and has a proven track record of legal and compliance working experience in both private practice and in-house counsel for multinational corporations.

Ha has a focused legal and compliance career and a special interest in energy and power areas. Before AES, Ha held key legal and compliance positions in various big players in the energy industry such as PV DRILLING in the oil & gas drilling service sector, ENI in the oil & gas exploration and production, and UPC RENEWABLES in the renewable power field. His legal & compliance expertise has grown to include the practices of business development, M&A, and business operations, reinforced by commercial approaches. He has contributed to the success of cross-border M&A deals and the development of upstream and downstream energy projects including a wide range of power plants with a total capacity of up to several GWs.

As a result-oriented lawyer, Ha is keen on adopting innovative and practical approaches that enable him to be an efficient business partner rather than just a lawyer.
