Phuong joined AES Vietnam in 2012. As a member of the finance team, Phuong is mainly responsible for treasury related functions for Mong Duong II Power Plant, LNG and AES’ other renewable energy projects in the country.

Prior to joining the company, Phuong spent a year as Assistant Relationship Manager – Wholesale Banking at Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank, where she focused on building and maintaining relationships with financial institution clients. Before that, she was an auditor at KPMG Limited Company for three years. As an auditor, she worked on projects across various sectors, including information technology, ship building, manufacturing, and food and beverage.

According to Phuong, joining AES and having the chance to work with people from many countries with different cultures and backgrounds is an amazing experience. Phuong feels lucky to have joined AES where she can continuously improve and work with friendly and inspiring colleagues.
